About Razboieni Monastery

Razboieni Monastery is an Orthodox monastery in Romania , built in 1496 in the village Razboieni of Neamt district . It is located at a distance of 26 km from Piatra Neamt. The monastery church is dedicated to St. Archangels Michael and Gabriel (celebrated every year on November 8).

Razboieni monastery consists of four objectives:

Church "St. Princes" - dating from. XV
Belfry - dating from 1862
Priory - dating from twentieth
Cells - dating from nineteenth and twentieth

The monastery was built by Stephen the Great (1457-1504) in 1496, 20 years after the Battle of White Valley (1476), for remembrance of Moldovan soldiers killed in the battle.
