About The Vineyard and Wine Museum

The building of the museum is dating from the eighteenth century and belonged to a descendant of the boyar Tautu.

The Vineyard and Wine Museum in Harlau was inaugurated on July 20, 2006 and is a part of the National Museum Complex "Moldova" Iasi.

The mission of the museum is to present the history of the vineyard and wine from ancient times.

The museum consists of ten rooms, in these rooms we will discover: grape presses, means of transport and container for wine storage, tools for vineyard, wineries, cellars and also the lifestyle of peasants in Harlau.
