About Mountain Resort - Bilbor

This resort has earned the reputation of being the most unpolluted place in Romania.

Bilbor is a locality in Harghita county, Transylvania. The settlement is found in the midst of a vast pine forest, the richest place in the Romania in terms of mineral springs.

Most of the sources of mineral waters comes from the western part of the basin, on the right bank of the River Bistricioara, forming a relatively small area; on the left bank are generally found freshwater springs.

The most important sources of water are Simion Lungu (the one with the largest CO2 emission), then Sestini, Iacobet, Truta, Raita, Valcanesti (I, II, III), Borcut and on Bistricioarei Valley - 6 springs carbonated.

The development of agro-tourism hotels and chalets makes the Bilbor resort to be a recreational place, as they say, a "green" tourism.

In the time spent on Bilbor you can practice horse riding (riding), hiking, cycling, fishing, or enjoy the nature in its true splendor in the wildest parts of Europe.
