About Memorial House of A. I. Cuza

Alexandru Ioan Cuza (1820-1873) was the first ruler of the United Principalities and of Romania national state.

In 1856, Alexandru Ioan Cuza used this residence as the ruler of Galati and the president of the court Covurlui.
Museum illustrates very well the work and the time spent by the ruler in Galati: an automobile, french model, branded De Dion Bouton, photo equipment, which comes from photographers studio Galatians, Maksay, typewriters, a loom, a gramophone Master's Voice; box Swiss music MIRA, a radio Philips, decorative art pieces, clothing and clothing accessories, pictures of that time, the reform policy documents relating to A. I. Cuza, fire weapons, medals.
