About National History Museum

National History Museum occupies 8.000 sqm and 60 rooms holds exhibits extremely valuable. Going through them, we can acquainted with evidence of human presence in Romania since the Paleolithic (600.000 years - 6.000 years BC), material and spiritual culture of the Dacians, the Daco-Roman wars and transforming the province of Dacia in province of Roman Empire, appearance and completion of state power structures in medieval society, the Phanariots reign, bourgeois-democratic revolution of 1848, gaining independence, triggering the two world wars and the entry of Romania under Russian influence.
