About Memorial House "George Enescu"

George Enescu was a composer, violinist, teacher, pianist and conductor. He is considered the most important Romanian musician.

 Was born in the Liveni village, Botosani county on 19.08.1881 and died on 04.05.1955 in Paris.

"I come from Romanian parents and I was born in Liveni, in the heart of Moldova ... I lived in a small house with painted wooden porch, where the ropes of onions are dried in the sun. And now I see peasants in white shirts with blue vest, singing in twilight ...
