About Spa Resort - Slanic-Moldova

Known as a spa resort, Slanic-Moldova is situated on the eastern of the Carpathians (in massive Nemira) at an altitude of 530 m, on Slanic valley.

Slanic-Moldova is an all-season resort, with an intra-lowland temperate climate, with clean air, free of dust and particles that can cause allergies, and rich in resinous aerosols and negative ions.

Slanic-Moldova resort is famous for its springs of carbonate, bicarbonate, slightly sulphurous, chlorine, sodium, hypertonic, hypotonic and oligomineral waters discovered in 1801.

In 1852 were made the first chemical tests, and in 1877 appeared the first spa facilities. Over the time, the mineral water qualities found here were confirmed by medals at international exhibitions in Paris, Vienna, Frankfurt etc..

Dubbed "Pearl of Moldavia", Slanic-Moldova provides facilities for warm baths in the tub with water, facilities for respiratory therapy (aerosols and inhalations), electrotherapy and hydrotherapy, physiotherapy pools, pits, facilities for the treatment of certain peripheral vascular disease, and medical gymnastics.

The development of agro-tourism hotels and chalets makes the Slanic-Moldova Resort to be a recreational place, as they say, a "green" tourism.

In the time spent on Slanic-Moldova Resort can practice horse riding (riding), hiking, cycling, fishing, or you can enjoy the nature in its splendor.
