About Memorial Museum "Ioan Slavici"

The Bohus Castle was built in the first half of the nineteenth century in Neoclassical style.

The plain mansion is composed of one body with 30 rooms. Since 1960, the castle houses the memorial museum of Ioan Slavici.

Also, inside is a permanent exhibition dedicated to the composer Emil Montia.

In one of the rooms are relics 1848-1849: paintings, letters, photographs, a few pieces of furniture.

An important piece of furniture is a table on that Arthur Görgey signed the submission  of weapons, an armistice was held on 13 august 1849. Hungarian army surrendered to the Russian general Rudiger.
